Cheap replicas...where?
 

Hey Guys-

My 3 year old has decided that for Christmas he wants to be more like Dad. His requests to Santa are a pocketknife and a silver dollar. :o)

Now, I found a plastic Victorinox on Amazon, but I can't find the inexpensive dollar. I see that some used to be available that were zinc with a silver layering added, but Amazon doesn't have any for less than $20. Too much for a 3 year old who will probably lose it in a few weeks anyway.

Do you have any sources for such a replica?

Oh, and I'm not looking for the 3 inch versions. It will have to pass his test for realism, and he knows what a real silver dollar looks like.

Yes, it will be late getting to him, but he has a bunch of other stuff to keep him occupied in the mean time.

You may be able to find some culls at your neighborhood dealer for less.
